Are you full of aches, pains, muscular problems, or do you wish to simply relax and unwind.......we offer a range of massage techniques based on Ayurvedic techniques,  Remedial/Sports Injury and Swedish Massage;

Ayurvedic Massage - Ayurveda itself is a holistic system of medicine that originated in India many centuries ago.  The word Ayurveda is made from two Sanskrit roots "Ayu" meaning life and "Veda" meaning knowledge, the term Ayurveda means the knowledge or science of life.  We provide massages based on Ayurvedic techniques (we do not provide or prescribe any medicated oils/powders) do visit your Ayurvedic Doctor for oils to suit your dosha (personal body type).   The massages we provide include Abhyanga = four handed full body massage - Udvartana = four handed cellulite busting massage, ShrioAbhyanaga (also know as Indian Head Massage).  The benefits of an Ayurvedic Massage includes

  • providing nourishment to the tissues and body
  • encouraging the release of toxins from the body
  • improving the immune system
  • restore balance and energy to the body
  • improved circulation

Remedial/Sports Injury Massage is a deep treatment that helps to loosen tight muscles, break up adhesions.  The treatment focuses on restoring and/or maintaining the full functionality of your muscles. It may help improve the performance of your muscles as well as prevent injury.  Injuries in the muscles will often heal more effectively with the help of remedial massage.

Examples of how this massage will be of benefit include:-

  • stress related disorders such as migraines, frozen shoulders, neurasthenia, nervous exhaustion, headaches, aches and pains related to stress
  • sports and accidental injuries, sprains, strains etc.
  • post pregnancy and post surgery
  • long term disorders such as temporary or permanent paralysis; post stroke, arthritis, poly-arthritic disorders
  • abdominal problems such as cramps, irritable bowels, constipation
  • back pain and shoulder problems

Swedish Massage is not only a powerful antidote to stress; it is also an excellent means of enhancing overall feelings of well being. It helps to boost the immune system, preventing illness, and when used regularly it contributes significantly to the quality of life.   The beneficial effects of massage include;
